YOLO announces call to ‘Keep The Dream Alive’ through campaign to showcase local talents and raise funds for underprivileged children

Local design agency holds art exhibition and competition to raise awareness and funds for The Business Times Budding Artists Fund 

 

SINGAPORE – 5 December 2008 – Boutique design agency, Yellow Octopus Pte Ltd, today announced the launch of its ‘Keep The Dream Alive’ campaign in aid of children from underprivileged backgrounds with artistic talent through The Business Times Budding Artists Fund (BT-BAF). 

Christmas is about hope, love, joy and peace. And to us, these are ingredients that make wonderful dreams. What better time then Christmas to remind ourselves to dream again. We believe that everyone has dreams and we want to encourage all to pursue them. Yolo is about making our choices count. Therefore, we want to do what we can, to be inspired and to inspire. Having this opportunity and great privilege we want to raise awareness and funds for The Business Times Budding Artists Fund. Do support the BT BAF in our efforts to make little children’s dreams come true. – Kevin Thio

 

The campaign will kick off with an exhibition (19th – 23 December) at The Arts House Gallery and centre around the interpretation of ‘Dreams’ by 7 well-known local illustrators.  These works will tell a story of how they’d made their dreams possible and encourage individuals – young and old – to start dreaming and not lose sight of their forgotten dreams.
